Coming out of North Hollywood California, SHILOH rocked L.A.'s Hard Rock scene in the 1990's to early 2000's.
The band formed in 1991 and their music immediately began to impress. Since their arrival, SHILOH has
been voted :
-#1 on KLOS local licks
-Best up and coming act at the L.A. Music awards
SHILOH's groundbreaking first offering; "Pure Platinum" was recorded and produced by Grammy Award winner Pat Regan (Kiss, Deep Purple). It promptly launched SHILOH into the #1 spot on KLOS local licks radio program and helped them win the L.A. Music Awards' "Best up and coming artist" honors.
The success of Pure Platinum attracted producer/engineer Steve Heinke (Ratt,XYZ) for SHILOH's sophomore effort "Own the Moment", which contributed to SHILOH's ever growing national and international fan base. "Own the Moment" also further cemented SHILOH's reputation as proficient songwriters with a powerful live performance.
Despite a grueling schedule of live shows, (culminating in a sold-out performance at Club Caprice with Sebastian Bach), SHILOH found time to record an additional 3-song self-titled CD with the now popular twin skull/civil war flag motif on the cover. This recording is some of SHILOH' s heaviest work, showcasing their 70's rock influence.
After a well deserved break, SHILOH enlisted the talent of engineer/producer Shane Charters to grind out their latest release "Time's a Wastin'". This 6 song CD displays SHILOH's wide range of ability. From thunderous rockers to heartfelt emotion; the group re-emphasizes their strength as top-notch songwriters. SHILOH proves that good music is their bottom line.
SHILOH was a band that would kick your ass on stage as well as in the studio. Within a rapidly changing musical climate, SHILOH preferred to focus on great music and mind blowing performances.
Infectious material and powerful performances will remain a big part of their legacy
